On Wednesday 12th February, Digital Wholesale Solutions hosted an exclusive event in partnership with EE and Samsung at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Birmingham. This event was a unique opportunity for our partners to gain a clear understanding of the EE proposition, brand, sales hints and tips and a wealth of relevant information for them to use with their customers. We were thrilled to also be joined on the day by one of the world’s leading hardware manufacturers, Samsung, who were on hand to present to our partners the unique opportunities that their ever-expanding portfolio could offer their customer’s business.
We began the day with opening presentations from our very own Director of Distribution, Jamie Macrae, followed by EE’s John Chyriwsky and Samsung’s Vinny Robertson who showcased some unique insights into the world of Mobile and Hardware.
Rather than delivering traditional big presentations to the whole audience throughout the day, the format of this event had shorter break-out style sessions in small groups. These rotating learning sessions formed a unique style of event that enabled partners to make the most out of each session, giving them more opportunities to ask questions and network with the event hosts and fellow partners.

Samsung also hosted a break-out session, which allowed them to showcase their exceptional Galaxy Enterprise Edition range. Unique to Samsung, the Galaxy Enterprise Edition is a complete package of mobile technology and services designed to give end-customers more – more choice, more control and more protection.
We also had a DWS EE Sales & Service session, hosted by our very own Mobile & Hardware Marketing Manager, Daniel Coughlan and our Service Delivery Manager, Leanne Renner. This covered the process of becoming an authorised EE Partner, the dedicated support available through the wider DWS Sales, Retentions and EE Service Delivery Teams, and a look into our competitive EE commercials. Daniel also delivered a deeper look into the marketing support we offer. From EE Partner Portals to co-brandable assets, he showcased what’s readily available to help our Mobile and Hardware partners target their customers.
We would like to say a huge thank you to all our partners who joined us. The day was filled with insights and we hope our partners left with plenty of knowledge and resources to support them in winning new business. A special thank you goes out to EE and Samsung for delivering some excellent learning sessions and helping us make the event a success. It was great to close the day with an evening of food, drinks and networking with our partners.
