What do you love most about working for DWS?
I love the fact that no two days are alike, having worked here for near 9 years, I can’t say I have even been bored. In an industry that constantly evolves, we continue to learn all the time, and DWS provides a fantastic environment and culture to increase that knowledge base.
What does your day-to-day role involve?
My day-to-day role involves co-managing a team of 14 Account Managers, making sure that our staff are equipped with all the tools necessary to give the best support, advice, and sales to our wide breadth of partners.
What have you learnt during your time at DWS?
I have learnt so much it’s difficult to pin any one thing down, but I’d say the most poignant thing I’ve learned is use of language. How one comes across, be it over the phone, face to face or email, to customers or colleagues is crucial, and the way an email or call can be worded could be the difference between a point coming across correctly or misinterpretation.
Why would you recommend a role at DWS?
I’d recommend it for many reasons, but the one I certainly hold dear as to why I have stayed in the organisation for so long, is the people. This company is made up of so many fantastic individuals, who come together in their teams, but also as a wider team, and those interpersonal relationships I value very highly. As a supportive and inclusive culture, anyone who comes to DWS is sure of a great welcome, a great support network both professionally and personally, will certainly have friendships they will build in their time with us.
