Meet Chelsey Millar, Marketing Executive – Mobile & Hardware at Digital Wholesale Solutions
What do you love most about working for DWS?
I would say the company’s support of flexible working and promoting a very relaxed culture. DWS is very understanding of everyone’s different circumstances and is accommodating when it comes to remote working, work from anywhere opportunities and the flexibility of managing a healthy work-life balance, something which is extremely important, especially given the current circumstances.
What does your day-to-day role involve?
No two days are the same, but essentially, I work to deliver messaging regarding new tariff launches across our mobile proposition and work with our hardware suppliers to deliver product roadmaps and campaigns around new mobile hardware releases. I also create sales enablement tools to equip our partners in selling our mobile and hardware products and manage the general upkeep of our partner portals.
What have you learnt during your time at DWS?
I have worked for DWS for 5 years now and the marketing experience I have gained is truly invaluable. I learn so much every day from my skilled team. From digital marketing, to design, to copywriting, to PR, to events management – I feel like I’ve really been given the opportunity to touch on every element of marketing within this role. I feel grateful to work for a company that fully supports the development and progression of their employees.
Why would you recommend a role at DWS?
The people and the culture here is second to none. Not only do DWS go above and beyond to support its partners, but it’s clear that it mirrors the same level of support and respect to its employees. What DWS offers is more than just a job, they’re constantly coming up with new internal engagement pieces, including social events, employee recognition schemes and health & wellbeing programmes. Having these initiatives really helps us feel part of an amazing team and have been so important in bringing us together, especially during the pandemic. It’s incredible that working remotely has made us feel even stronger as a team, and that’s down to the culture.
