Christmas Volunteering Project
Breakfast with Santa is one of HEYCU’s most magical experiences and we need volunteers to help make it happen.
What’s happening?
We’re working with HEYCU to help deliver one of their magical breakfast with Santa experiences. We’ve been allocated a Year 1 class at The Greenway Academy. They’ll provide us with a list of presents the children have asked Santa for, and colleagues are invited to buy one or more of the items from the list. These gifts will be collected at the office, wrapped and then delivered to the school for the main event.
Santa will need several elves to join him on the morning, to help hand out presents and join in the fun.

Opportunities:
- Gift buyers x 30
Each buyer will be given a list from one of the children and will need to purchase a presents at a cost of £10-£15 - Gift wrappers x as many as we can get!
We’ll provide the paper, scissors and sticky tape, plus some festive tunes. All you have to do is turn up and get wrapping! - Elves x 4 to attend the breakfast
Elves will have a costume and a persona! So, volunteers should be comfortable with a little make-believe.
When and where?
- Gifts will need to have been purchased and dropped off at the Hessle office by Monday 5th December.
- Gift wrapping will take place in the office on Tuesday 6th December.
- The breakfast will take place on Thursday 8th December 8.30am to 10.30am at The Greenway Academy.
