January Transfer Window at DWS FC
As we are in the throes of the January transfer window, DWS are pleased to announce two major signings this month! First, we have big money transfer of Marita Prokopenko, who has signed for Hogan Athletic.
Speaking to us at DWS TV, Marita had this to say ahead of her first fixture for her new team, “It has been a dream of mine ever since I joined from the academy at DBAM United to one day make it into the field, and I am so pleased all my hard work and graft going through the leagues has meant I can realise this dream. I am so grateful to my team mates at United for the support and help in getting there, and now moving to the new Mobile League, it’ll be a great new challenge and a step up for me in front of some big crowds!”
She added, “I can’t wait to get started with my new manager Steve at Hogan Athletic, it’ll be a culture change in this new Mobile League, having played many years in the UC Championship, but Steve has fantastic pedigree and years of experience, I know I will have the support needed to flourish.”
DWS are also pleased to announce the big money signing of Beth Hyom, for DBAM North FC. Beth joins on an internal transfer, after many months of exceptional performance for BDE United. She was scouted to be the rising star for her new team.
Catching up with DWS TV, Beth said, “I am grateful for the experience given to me at BDE United, and the mentorship of my gaffer Vanda, and now look to really shine and use that experience for my new side as we push to be top of the DBAM League.”
Manager Sam added, “We’ve known about Beth’s qualities for a while, and our scouts had identified her as a great candidate following Marita’s big money signing for Hogan Athletic to join the side and, with the support of her team mates, really give herself the platform to show what she can do. This is a great signing for us and we look forward to pushing on into the next financial year.”
