DWS Partner Forum: Connectivity

At Digital Wholesale Solutions, we are passionate about building relationships and giving our partners the products and support that they need to succeed. We always encourage our partners to provide feedback on our services so that we can adapt our business to meet their needs, helping us become their number one choice in the Channel.

At DWS we carry out regular Partner Advocacy Surveys, to ensure we listen to our partners’ opinions on what we are doing well and where we need to make improvements. As part of this Partner Advocacy initiative, we have launched our Partner Forums, a series of round table events that enable us to engage with our partners in relation to our products. We will be holding these events for each of our core product areas over the coming months.

This week, we held our first forum focusing on Connectivity. In a London pub, we met with 10 partners to have an open discussion about our current offerings, upcoming technologies and industry news, encouraging everyone to share their thoughts and ideas.

James Montague, Head of Connectivity Portfolio, provided insight on how to prepare for the new Single Order products

Attendees got to hear from our Head of Connectivity, James Montague, about the latest industry news, from the fibre rollout to the future of connectivity technology. Following this, our guest speaker Phil Laws, Openreach’s PSTN Withdrawal Programme Director shared an update on the switch off, providing valuable insight into the project for our attendees.

Our Connectivity team Adrian Oldroyd, Muhammad Brora and James Montague were on hand to answer all the questions about broadband and Ethernet at DWS

After lunch, Muhammad Brora, Product Manager for Broadband, and Adrian Oldroyd, Ethernet Product Manager, took over to present our roadmap before the discussion opened up for a Q&A session with our product experts and Openreach representative. Partners shared their thoughts on the solutions available from DWS and suggested what they would like to see from us in future, giving us food for thought as we look at building our Connectivity strategy for the next year.

The event gave us the chance to communicate with our partners on an informal basis, holding a two way discussion to help us gain a good understanding of what our partners are looking for and how DWS can help them achieve their goals.

This intimate get together allowed partners to provide valuable feedback to help us shape the future of DWS

We’ve received much positive feedback from attendees and look forward to holding more events around our other product areas in the coming months.
