DWSfest presents Oktoberfest 2019

On 3rd October, Digital Wholesale Solutions launched DWSfest, the first event of its kind, held to say thank you to our partners for helping make DWS such a phenomenal success. We hired the fantastic Pergola Paddington and decked it out with DWS branded Oktoberfest decorations with a little help from our sponsors – TalkTalk Business, BT Wholesale, O2, Virgin, Nokia, Epsilon, CAT Phones and FirstWave Cloud.

CEO Terry O’Brien kicked off the event as we raised a stein to our valued partners, before guests enjoyed music from Oompah Brass and DJ Jon Beck and indulged in German beer, pretzels and Bavarian-themed food.
By the time 7pm came around, it was time for the awards ceremony, hosted by our Sales Director, Garry Growns. Each award was presented by one of our sponsors who helped us make the event such a massive success. The winners were presented with specially engraved steins to honour their hard work.

A networking event with a twist, everyone had a fantastic time, getting to chat to people outside of conference rooms while the drinks flowed. The props came out for the photobooth and everyone got into the Oktoberfest spirit as Oompah Brass kicked off the games.

As the night drew to a close, Oompah Brass played their last set and people had their final dance before heading off, armed with DWS steins to commemorate the day and a little something to help with the hangover, courtesy of O2.
Overall, the first ever DWSfest was a huge success and we have received some fantastic feedback from our guests.
